Missions
When the Church of the Nazarene was born in Pilot Point Texas in 1908,
it had missionaries already on the field from the several groups that
formed the denomination. Since that time, missions have been a strong
focal point for us.
The following are
some Nazarene Missions Facts:
- The Church of
the Nazarene ministers in 148 world areas.
- The Church of
the Nazarene ministers in 150 languages and dialects, with printed materials
in 95 of these.
- There are 739
Nazarene missionaries: this includes long term, short term and volunteers.
- The Church of
the Nazarene is seventh among denominations in number of missionaries
and third with presence in various world areas.
- The Church of
the Nazarene has schools, hospitals, bible colleges, and seminaries
around the world. It ministers through radio, TV and Internet broadcast
around the world.

means:

programs
